Independent software engineer · Romania
SaaS platforms and mobile apps, built end to end.
I'm Cristian Paraschiv, an independent software engineer trading as Paraschiv Cristian Vasile PFA. I design, build and ship production software — multi-tenant SaaS products, native Android and iOS applications, and the APIs and cloud infrastructure that hold them together.
One engineer accountable for the whole stack, from the first architecture sketch to the release that goes live.

What I do
Product engineering, without the handoffs
Most projects need more than code: they need someone who can shape the scope, choose the architecture, build it, and stay responsible for it in production. That is the role I take on.
SaaS product development
Multi-tenant web platforms with subscriptions, roles and an admin back office built in from the start.

Native and cross-platform mobile apps, taken through development, store review and release.
See all servicesBackend & API engineering
The systems underneath — APIs, background processing and integrations that stay reliable under load.
See all servicesCloud, DevOps & deployment
Repeatable deployments, monitoring and backups, so releases are routine rather than risky.

Bringing inherited, outdated or stalled codebases back to a maintainable state.

Senior technical judgement at the points where a wrong decision is expensive to reverse.

A predictable path from idea to release
Every engagement follows the same four stages. You always know what is being built, what it costs, and when it ships.
-
01
Discovery & scope
We map the problem, the users and the constraints. You get a written scope, a technical approach and a fixed estimate before any code is written.
-
02
Architecture & plan
Data model, integrations, infrastructure and delivery milestones are agreed up front — so the expensive decisions are made deliberately rather than discovered late.
-
03
Incremental build
Work ships in reviewable increments on a staging environment. Automated tests and CI run from day one, and you see real progress every week.
-
04
Launch & support
Store submissions, production deployment, monitoring and backups are handled. Afterwards you can keep me on a maintenance retainer, or take full ownership — the code and infrastructure are yours either way.
Why work with me
Senior delivery, without the agency overhead
You get direct access to the person doing the work — and none of the layers that usually sit between a brief and a build.
One accountable engineer
No account managers, no juniors quietly assigned to your project. You talk to the person who writes the code and owns the outcome.
Production-first, not demo-first
Automated tests, continuous integration, error tracking, structured logging and backups are part of the build — not a phase that gets cut when the deadline moves.
You own everything
Repositories, cloud accounts, store listings and documentation are handed over in your name. There is no lock-in and no proprietary layer you have to keep paying for.
Clean EU invoicing
A registered Romanian sole trader with a valid VIES VAT number, so intra-community reverse charge works exactly as your accountant expects.
Written, direct communication
Weekly written updates, decisions recorded in writing, and a response within one business day. In English or Romanian.
Boring technology, on purpose
Proven, well-supported tools chosen to match the problem — so the product is still maintainable long after launch, by me or by your own team.
Engagement models
Three ways to work together
Pick the arrangement that matches how defined your project already is.
Fixed-scope project
A defined product or milestone, delivered for an agreed price against a written specification.
Best for: MVPs, new apps, well-defined rebuilds
Monthly retainer
A reserved block of capacity each month for continuous development, maintenance and support.
Best for: live products that keep evolving
Advisory & review
Architecture reviews, technical due diligence, security and performance audits, or a second opinion before you commit.
Best for: teams needing senior input, not extra hands
Have something you want built?
Tell me what you are working on — the problem, the users and roughly where it needs to be. You will get a considered reply within one business day, with an honest view on scope, cost and whether I am the right fit.
